How to pay your New Jersey Income Taxes?

This is a free option if you want to pay your taxes owed via your bank account.
Submit a tax payment through the state tax agency's site. When you're on the site, follow the on-screen prompts to enter and submit your information (e.g. SSN, and Date of Birth).
Use this payment option if you want to pay your tax payment via your credit or debit card. There is an additional service fee added to each payment you submit with your card.
Check or Money Order with Form NJ-1040-V
Complete voucher Form NJ-1040-V and attach it to your check or money order payable to "State of New Jersey-TGI". Write your Social Security number and the tax year on the check. Mail them to the Form NJ-1040-V address below.
Use this payment option if you wish to submit your payment via check or money order in the mail.
Estimated Tax Payment Options
Choose one of these options: 1) Submit your estimated payment with New Jersey Division of Taxation (or if you already made a payment, check the status ) via e-check. In your account, you can schedule your payments, enter and save your bank information, view your account history, and receive confirmation that the state tax agency accepted your payment.
2) Pay via credit or debit card with New Jersey Division of Taxation. Be aware that a service fee is added to each payment you submit with your card.
3) Complete voucher Form NJ-1040-ES. Attach a check or money order for the tax period payable to "State of New Jersey TGI". Write your Social Security numbers on the check or money order. Mail the voucher and check/money order to the Form NJ-1040-ES address here.
Use one of these payment options if you want to submit estimated taxes rather than submit all your taxes owed at once.
