AK Personal Property Tax
Only 25 municipalities in Alaska (boroughs or cities) collect personal property taxes. The state exempts the first $150,000 of assessed value from the taxes for these groups of people:
- AK citizens ages 65 or older
- Disabled veterans from Alaska
