Problem: The IRS - not eFile.com - rejected your tax return because your dependent's SSN and date of birth on Schedule EIC doesn't match IRS records. Please correct either the SSN or birthdate.
Solution: Sign into your eFile.com account at https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/ and click on My Return and follow the instructions on the right side to correct this.
Then re-eFile your federal and state returns at no additional charge.
