IRS Tax Return Rejection Code R0000-932-01

Problem: The IRS - not eFile.com rejected your Federal Tax Return because a return with Taxpayer Identification Number or TIN has already been processed by the IRS.

Solution: Sign into your eFile.com account: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/signin, and to one of the following:

  • Click on Federal Taxes -> Income on the left green section. Under Wages-W2 check all the jobs and verify the EIN or Employer Identification number(s). And/or check the Other Income section and check the 1099 forms for the correct EIN or Payer ID number(s).
  • Click on Federal Taxes-> Review  on the left green section. Then on the right side click on the link I'd like to see all federal forms In case you had intended to prepare an amended -Form 1040X - or e-File a superseded return, make sure the proper data has been entered.
  • If the return is neither an amended nor a superseded return and the TIN is correct, then you must contact the IRS because another electronic return has already been filed using the same TIN: 1-800-829-1040.

If you made any correction you can re-efile your return at no additional charge until it got accepted.

In some cases the IRS rejects incorrectly. In that case go to My Account in eFile.com and download, sign, print paper file your return via mail to here:  https://www.efile.com/where-to-mail-tax-return-form-irs-mailing-address-for-refund/
