Problem: The IRS—not eFile.com—rejected your Federal Tax Return because the Bank Transit Number or Routing Number that was entered appears invalid.
Solution: Sign into your eFile.com account, click My Return and then Review on the left. Click Continue or File Now. Once you get to the bank information page, check the bank routing or routing transit number. If the number is not correct, correct it and continue with your re-eFile process. You can re-eFile your return at no additional charge.
