The West Virginia Tax Division is asking you to check your SSN and on your WV Tax Return.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and review the messages on the right side page.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
2. Then click on Name & Address on the left and then scroll through the page on the right and check your Social Security and/or that of your spouse. If they are correct then ask yourself if you or your spouse has already filed a WV tax return for this year. Contact the WV Tax Division if you have not filed a tax return with your SSN.
If SSN is correct you must file a paper return and attach a copy of the secondary taxpayer Social Security card to the paper return. If a name change was due to a court petition, attach a copy of the documentation received from the court showing the approved name change.
