Problem: The IRS - not eFile.com - has rejected your return because your date of birth does not match what the IRS has in their records.
Solution: Sign into your eFile.com account at https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/, click on My Return and follow the instructions to correct it. Make the necessary corrections and re-efile your federal and state returns for free.
If you keep getting rejected the issue most likely is then on the IRS side. At this point you please click on "My Account" and download the PDF file of the tax year in question. Then, print, sign and mail in your return.
