IRS Tax Return Rejection Code IND-507

Problem: The IRS - not eFile.com - has rejected your return, as the Social Security Number of one of your Dependents has been used on another return accepted by the IRS for the same tax year.

Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on My Return in the upper left and review the IRS message on the right.

1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/

2. Click on Federal Taxes -> Dependents and review the SSN if your Dependent(s). If the Social Security Numbers are correct then you can not eFile your return with the Dependent(s) listed as a return has been accepted with one or more of your Dependents SSN.

If you think you are qualified to claim the Dependent(s) please download, print and mail your IRS and State returns from your  My Account and print, sign and mail it to the IRS. Here is the IRS mailing address: https://www.efile.com/irs-mailing-addresses/

Then follow these procedures to claim your Qualified Dependent(s).
