IRS Tax Return Rejection Code IND-183-01

Problem: The IRS—not eFile.com—rejected your return because the Identity Protection Personal Identification Number (IP-PIN) you entered for your spouse doesn't match IRS records.

Solution: Sign into your eFile.com account, click on File, proceed through the check out and efile process again and enter your spouse's IP-PIN on the appropriate screen and re-efile your federal and state returns for free.
