Problem: The IRS—not eFile.com—has rejected your return and you are required to make a correction.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on My Return in the upper left. Then, review the IRS message on the right.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
2. Each dependent must be under the age of 18 as of Dec. 31 of the tax year. You might, however, be eligible to claim the Other Dependent Credit. See here: https://www.efile.com/dependent/
Once you made the correction you can re-eFile at no additional charge.
