Problem: The Illinois Department of Taxation, Revenue is asking you to make a correction on your IL Tax Return.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and review the messages on the right side page.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
2. Then click on State Taxes on the left and on the right side the small blue link: I'd like to see the forms I've filled out or search for a form, then select the state in question and edit the form.
3. Click on IL and the down arrow on the right and review or add your IL Forms.
On Form 1099-G you need to enter the Illinois Department of Employment Security FEIN exactly as it appears on your Form 1099-G. See Payer's TIN or State Identification No. in box 10b. Then re-efile your return at no additional charge.
