Problem: Your Tax Return needs a correction. Double check the payment date you requested. It can't be more than five days prior to the IRS received date.
Find the message about the correction on the right side of your page after you have signed into your account.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on My Return in the upper left. Then review the Tax Return Status message on the right and follow these instructions. If it's not clear, try to re-efile at not charge or contact us immediately.
Click File and follow through the e-File checkout process and correct this date. It can't be more than five days prior to the IRS received date. You can also pay taxes online here at the IRS site either by bank transfer (fee free) or by Credit Card. https://www.efile.com/pay-taxes/
