Problem: The Maryland Department of Taxation, Revenue is asking you to make a correction on your MD Tax Return.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and review the messages on the right side page.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
2. Then click on State Taxes on the left and on the right side the small blue link: I'd like to see the forms I've filled out or search for a form, then select the state in question and edit the form.
3. Click on MD and the down arrow on the right and review the MD tax after credits. The amount must equal Line 32c or total MD tax minus Line 36 Total Credits. If it is negative, enter 0 or zero. You can then re-efile at no additional charge.
