Problem: The IRS - not eFile.com - has rejected your return, as the Social Security Number of the Spouse has been used on another return accepted by the IRS.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on My Return in the upper left and review the IRS message on the right.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
2. Click on Name & Address and verify the Names and Social Security Numbers or SSN of the Taxpayer and the Spouse (if applicable) on your return. On Form 1310 the Name of the person claiming the refund must match SSN in the IRS database. Make any corrections needed and re-eFile again at no fee. If you can not correct this issue and if the issue is on the IRS side, please download your return from your My Account and print, sign and mail it to the IRS.
