Problem: The IRS - not eFile.com rejected your Federal Tax Return because A Payer Federal ID or EIN number you entered from your 1099-R form doesn't match IRS records.
Solution: Sign into your eFile.com account: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/, and click on "My Return" on the green section in the upper left and read the instruction message on the right: Then click on Federal Taxes and Income on the left. On the right of that page you will find your 1099 entry(ies) at the bottom. Click on them and verify the Payer or EIN number.
Once completed checkout again and re-efile at no charge.
