Problem: The State of Connecticut—not eFile.com—rejected your CT Tax Return because a state tax return for the tax year has already been accepted by CT.
Solution: Sign into your eFile.com account: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/signin, and click on My Return in the upper right and find more information on the page on your right.
If you think all the Social Security Numbers you entered are correct, you can re-efile at no additional charge. If you keep getting rejected and you think all your information is correct, go to My Account inside your eFile.com account and download the tax year pdf file. Then PRINT, sign, and MAIL in your CT state return and follow up with a phone call with the State of Connecticut.
