Problem: The State of Arizona Department of Taxation, Revenue is asking you to make a correction on your AZ Tax Return.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on State Taxes in the upper left and review the IRS message on the right.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
Click on State Taxes on the left and on the right side the small blue link: I'd like to see the forms I've filled out or search for a form, then select the state in question and edit the form.
Change the child tax credit amount claimed, as it can not exceed the maximum available for the Dependent Child Tax Credit. The Dependent Tax Credit cannot exceed [ (number in box 10a x 100) + (number in box 10b x 25) ] x Arizona income ratio (line 27). If the decimal is .50 or more, round to the next dollar.
