How to Search, Add, or Remove Form or Page

Review instructions on how to a view, edit, search, add, or delete a federal and/or state tax form. There are two types of forms: A: income or expense forms you receive in order to prepare a tax return and B: forms that are part of a tax return.

A: Income, Expense Forms: Certain income forms, e.g. W-2, 1099, etc., which report your income and deductions for the year. Take the information from your income or statement form and add it to the corresponding place in your eFile account.
B: Tax Return Forms, Schedules: As you prepare your return, you are filling out various IRS and state forms - on eFile.com, this is done by answering simple questions. Once you enter all your various forms, eFile will generate all respective IRS and state forms based on your entries.

You can view your tax return at any time under My Account before you are ready to eFile or after your return was accepted by the IRS and state(s).

Instructions

1. Sign in to eFile.com

2. Federal Forms
View, edit, search, add, or delete federal forms

Step 1: After signing in, select Federal Taxes -> Review on the left side menu.
Step 2: On the right side page, select I'd like to see the forms I've filled out or search for a form.
Step 3: Either View or Edit your existing federal tax return forms by selecting My Forms below OR search for a new form by entering a keyword in the search box and search.
From there, select Add Form to complete a form or select the trash can icon to delete any of the existing forms/pages.

3.1 State Forms
Select a State

Step 1: Select Review on the left side menu.
Step 2: On the right side page, select I'd like to see the forms I've filled out or search for a form.

3.2 State Forms
View, edit, search, add, or delete state forms

Step 3: If you have multiple states, select the arrow icon on the right of the state name.
Step 4: Either View or Edit your existing tax return forms/screen by selecting My Forms below and then select the form name OR search for a new form by entering a keyword in the search box.
From there, select Add Form to complete a form or select the trash can icon to delete any of the existing forms/pages.

4. Review Your Tax Return

At any time, view your tax returns as a PDF file under My Account.
