Problem: The Maryland Department of Taxation is asking you to make a correction on your MD Tax Return.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on State Taxes in the upper left and review the IRS message on the right.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
2. Click on State Taxes on the left and click on I'd like to see the forms I've filled out on the right. Select Maryland and review the forms/page you have added.
The MD message provided was: Line 7 - must be equal to sum of amounts from Lines 5, 6a and 6b and Line 7 of Form 502LU (if Form 502LU is present).
