Article, Solution:

What if email notifications from eFile.com land in your spam folder?

Follow these steps based on email service provider:

Provider

Description
Gmail
  1. Click Gmail gear -> Click link below see all settings
  2. Click Filters and Blocked Addresses -> Create a new filter
  3. Enter from: support@efile.com and to: Your Gmail address -> Continue
  4. Select Never send it to Spam -> Update filter.

Additionally, when you read the email in your Spam folder, you should see an option to select that this email is not spam. Clicking this should send the email to your primary inbox as well as any future emails.

Yahoo
  1. Click the Spam or Junk folder
  2. Click the email from eFile to open it
  3. Click the Not Spam button - this will move it to your primary inbox. Emails from eFile should now be sent to your primary inbox instead of the Junk folder. Gmail offers a similar solution.
Outlook
  1. Open your Junk folder and select the eFile email that went here by mistake.
  2. Here, a toolbar should open (link Gmail or Yahoo) which allows you to select Not Junk or Not Spam. You can also select "It's not junk" at the top of the email.
  3. If support@efile.com is blocked for any reason, you can unlock this email under your Blocked Senders list.
  4. Add the sender to your Safe senders list:

You can also select Settings -> View all Outlook settings -> Junk Email. Here, you can see your Blocked Senders (be sure eFile is not here) and your Safe Senders (add support@efile.com here).

iCloud
  1. In iCloud, click the Junk folder -> select the eFile email -> click Not Junk at the top. This will send it any future emails from support@efile.com to your primary inbox.
AOL
  1. Click the Spam or Junk folder
  2. Click the email from eFile to open it
  3. Click the Not Spam button - this will move it to your primary inbox. Emails from eFile should now be sent to your primary inbox instead of the Junk folder. Gmail offers a similar solution.
All other email providers

In general, you can add an email to your mailing list within an email platform. Most offer a simple solution when you locate the email in your spam/junk folder by allowing you to select that the email should not be spam. You should make sure that emails from support@efile.com are able to come through your primary inbox. Consider checking with your email provider on how to whitelist an email address.
