If you prepared and e-filed a tax return on eFile.com, we store your return for seven year with the current and last 2 years right in your account. For all other years, contact us via your own eFile.com personal support page.

Sign in to your eFile.com account and following the instructions below: 

  1. Click My Account in the upper right side of your account screen. 
  2. Click the appropriate tax year link under the "My Return" heading. Your completed return will be listed as a PDF file, ready for you to download and print.
  3. Click the blue PDF icon to open and view the file.
  4. See how to view the document on a mobile phone which may show a blank file.

Note: you may need to disable any pop-up or ad blockers that may prevent the file from opening properly.

If you used other platforms or professional tax preparers and you don't have a copy of your tax return data such as your adjusted gross income, get a free online IRS tax transcript here. Transcripts are not the same as a tax return copy as they will only summarize your tax returns. Thus, you do not get an exact copy of your return.
