My 2008 Tax Return I don't know my 2008 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) If you do not know or cannot retrieve your 2008 AGI (Adjusted Gross Income) or 2008 PIN, please get your IRS Authorization Code or PIN. Simply enter this PIN in your 2009 tax return on efile.com and you are done. Once you have this PIN/CODE you will not need your 2008 tax return in order to prepare and efile your 2009 tax return on efile.com. Get my IRS Authorization CODE/Pin Please write down this CODE/PIN. Now please start your 2009 tax return here and CREATE A NEW USERNAME/PASSWORD on the left side under "New User Registration." (Note: Your 2008 username/password will not work here under "Returning User" - you will have to create a NEW USER account.) On your 2009 tax return on efile.com enter your CODE/PIN in the space indicated: "Prior Year PIN/Electronic Filing PIN" when efiling your return. Please let us know if you need additional help. Important news regarding a major eFile system upgrade

After that you can sign in with your new username and password.
