Even if you have already filed your federal tax return, you can use efile.com to prepare and efile any state income tax returns. Just answer the online tax interview questions normally; your answers provide the same information for both federal returns and state returns. On the "States Selection" screen, select any state tax returns you wish to file. When you get to the "Check Out" screen, simply uncheck the box next to "Federal Income Tax Return" if you do not want to efile a federal tax return. Only the state tax returns which are selected (with a check mark) will be efiled.
